Founder, The Other Perspective | Author | Executive Coach | PhD Candidate
Sonja Wekema (MA, MSc) is an executive coach, leadership and organisational advisor, author and founder of The Other Perspective. For more than 25 years she has worked with leaders and organisations across sectors and cultures. Together with Matthias Schramm, she wrote Leading in a Wicked World. Sonja is a PhD candidate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, researching leader vulnerability. She holds an MSc in Executive Coaching from Hult Ashridge.
Co-author
Dr. Matthias Schramm is an author and leadership practitioner with a particular interest in how leadership and organisations evolve in times of complexity and change. His work explores organisational design, adaptability and the changing relationship between people, leadership and technology. Together with Sonja Wekema, he co-authored Leading in a Wicked World, bringing an organisational and systemic perspective to the questions explored in the book.
Partner, The Other Perspective
Lenneke Abelman began her career as a lawyer at the Amsterdam Court of Appeal before moving into consulting and organisational development roles at Shell. She is a partner at The Other Perspective, where her work includes executive coaching and organisational development. She also co-hosts the TOP Talks podcast.

The Other Perspective is the leadership and organisational practice founded by Sonja Wekema.
We work with leaders, leadership teams and organisations when perspectives differ, conversations get stuck or familiar approaches no longer work.
